Bert and Anita are a hopeful adoptive parents waiting to adopt a baby. We want to first say thank you for taking time to learn more about our family. You will always have a special place in our hearts, and there are absolutely no words to describe what you are about to do for your child and for us, only love.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read our Birth Parent Letter and family profile.

Dear Birthparent:

We are Bert and Anita, and we are 30 and 31-years-old. We moved to Texas 10 years ago, and we love it! We love our work, the weather, our neighborhood and the nice people. We both where born in the Netherlands, but plan to stay in Texas to continue our business and keep building our lives here. Texas is the place where we want to raise our children. We have a 4-year-old biological son, and his name is Thijs. Not a common American name, but easy to pronounce: +Tice-. He is a sweet little boy and our blessing from God. After the loss of our firstborn, and complications during our second pregnancy, our doctor advised us not to get pregnant again. That is when we knew that we wanted to adopt! We cannot describe how special this time is for us. Our decision to adopt is our well-thought-of and well prayed-for choice, just like yours is. To choose adoption for your baby’s best interests is the most amazing thing we can ever imagine. You will always have a special place in our hearts, and there are absolutely no words to describe what you are about to do for your child and for us, only love.

Since Bert didn’t grow up with his mother and was emotionally adopted by his stepmother at age 14, he knows how special a loving family feels. It is our greatest wish to offer that to your child, too. We promise to parent your child, just like Thijs, and give them everything they need. We will tell him or her about the two wonderful people who made this unselfish choice out of love for their child, to give him or her the miracle of adoption. (And to us, too!) Should you wish to receive pictures and letters over the years, we would be honored to share the gift you have given us, because if not for you, we would never have the opportunity to raise another child. We are just thrilled. We can’t wait to hold another baby, to have another baby for us to love and to cherish. It would mean so much to us to watch our children growing up together, and for Thijs to have a brother or sister to share life with. It is our promise to you that we will raise your child in a loving, Christian family to be a wonderful, educated and confident adult. We hope you will consider us and let your child become a part of our family! Thank you for reading our letter.

Truly yours,

Bert & Anita.

The fact that you are considering an adoption plan for your child already gives me the utmost respect to you. Your decision to make an adoption plan is out of love for your child, and in turn, my decision to adopt is also based on love.

Dear Birth Parents,

My name is Claire and I thank you for reading my profile.

Most letters end with “sincerely yours”, but I hope that you know from the very beginning I am truly “sincerely yours” as you begin to read my letter and profile. The fact that you are considering an adoption plan for your child already gives me the utmost respect to you. Your decision to make an adoption plan is out of love for your child, and in turn, my decision to adopt is also based on love.

While you are reading my profile, I hope that you gain insight to who I am and will discover meaningful attributes, qualities, values that will become the foundation of your child’s future. My biggest responsibility will be to love and nurture your child with all my heart, and support their endeavors and conquering milestones, from taking first steps, saying their first words, graduating from school and pursuing their dreams.

I always knew that I would become a Mother; it is a life long dream. The support of my family and friends to parent through adoption is met with love and concurrence that I will be a positive role model and be a good Mother to your child. Over the years I have spent quality time with children. To my cousins and friends children, including triplets, I have become their “Auntie Claire’. In addition, I am also privileged to be asked by two dear friends to become Godmother to their children.

I am close to my family and was lucky to have had a wonderful upbringing. My parents have always been very supportive. My parents are excited at the thought of becoming grandparents, and my sister to be an aunt.

My commitment to you is that your child will always know they have been brought into this world with profound love and the courage that their Birth Parents exhibited. Progression of your child’s life and events will be organized and continuously shared with you.

My respect for you is heartfelt and I close this letter with the admiration for your decision to create an adoption plan. As I began this letter, I am,

Sincerely Yours,
Claire

Dustin and Melissa are a hopeful adoptive parents waiting to adopt a baby. We would like to start by thanking you for taking the time to learn about us. As you know, we all have challenges in life, and one of our challenges has been being able to have a child. We are so grateful that you are considering us to be your child’s parents and that through adoption we can have the family we have always wanted.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read our Birth Parent Letter and family profile.

Dear Birth Mother,

We would like to start by thanking you for taking the time to learn about us. As you know, we all have challenges in life, and one of our challenges has been being able to have a child. Our journey to become parents began five and a half years ago when we had the first of five miscarriages. Although we were devastated by the miscarriages, our desire to become parents just grew stronger. We are so grateful that you are considering us to be your child’s parents and that through adoption we can have the family we have always wanted.

We have been married for six and a half years. We met through a mutual friend our senior year of high school. Dustin was headed off to the east coast to play soccer after high school and Melissa was headed to the west coast. In our case, the old saying, “absence makes the heart grow fonder” was TRUE. Despite being across the country from each other, our love and friendship only grew deeper and 6 years later we were getting married surrounded by our many family members and friends.

We have a chocolate lab named Chase who is six years old. We got him as a puppy and he is truly one of the best things that has happened to us. He constantly brings energy and love to our family, although we were excited for something more…that is when we were blessed with a beautiful daughter through adoption!! Kennedy has been the light of our days and nights! She is perfect and everything we had always hoped and dreamed. Kennedy is now ready to be a big sister as she loves taking her baby everywhere and playing with all our friends’ children. She is just the happiest, sweetest little angel you have ever met. Our family can’t wait for the next stage as we become a family of four (or five).

Our Family
Our desire to be parents comes from the fact that we both have wonderful families that we are very close to. Dustin has a sister, a step-brother and step-sister and Melissa has two brothers. We are both the oldest of our families and would say we are born leaders.

Melissa’s family is very large. Her mother is one of six children and her father is one of three children with almost all twenty-five cousins living very close to us. Dustin’s mom is an only child however it never seems that way being that her mom is one of five girls and a boy and his father is one of two children. Our families get together for every holiday and most birthday celebrations. A family get together with our families consists of lots of laughter, hugs and kisses. Our families are anxiously awaiting the arrival of your child with open arms to hug and kiss them.

Our Promise
If you select us to be your child’s parents, we promise to always be loving and caring parents. We promise you that your strength and courage to make this decision to place your child with us will be something that we share with your child and something that your child will admire as much as we do. We promise to give your child every opportunity to travel, experience life, get an education, and to develop into a confident and compassionate person who will be loved by us and our extended families. Although we do not know each other yet, we promise to love your child with unconditional love, the type of love that only a parent has. Kennedy’s adoption was an amazing experience. We were able to get to know the birth mother and father as the delivery approached and would be open to that if this is what you would like although if you choose to not meet us we understand that as well.

Our Interests
If you select us, your child will have the opportunity to experience a variety of activities. Melissa loves art, while Dustin loves sports. When Melissa has free time, you will find her at the museum or working on her own art through photography, painting or ceramics. When Dustin has free time, you will find him playing soccer, football, hockey or basketball with friends. Although we have some different interests, we have many similar interests. We love to travel and spend time walking our dog, going to the lake or going to various sporting events. One of our favorite and most memorable travel experiences is our trip to Europe after our graduation. We spent 20 days back packing through the most amazing countries and experiencing many different cultures. We formed memories that will last our life time. We cannot wait to have another child to share these experiences with and to create memories together as a family.

Education
Education is extremely important to us. We both went to private Christian schools and colleges. Because we live in a large city and we feel that Christian values are extremely important, we intend for your child to attend private school. It is very important to us that your child have the best education that we can provide.

Dustin
Dustin, was a business major in college, and worked at different companies throughout the country. Dustin’s career required him to travel all the time. However, after a number of years having to travel and because we wanted to start a family, Dustin decided to change jobs. Dustin is passionate about his work and he works with property developers who plan communities for the elderly. Although Dustin’s work still requires some travel, most of Dustin’s trips are just for the day and he is home on a regular basis.

Melissa
Melissa was a graphic design major in college and after graduation became a Producer at a production company. As a Producer, Melissa lived a very fast paced and exciting life which consisted of entertaining clients through her passion of the arts. Three years ago, Melissa decided to slow down in hopes to start a family and is now the Director of a Family Foundation that gives back to the community by working with children in all areas of education and the homeless of their community helping them get back on their feet. As the Director for the Foundation, she is able to have a flexible schedule and will be able to devote her time to being a full time mom.

Our House
We live in Texas, in a 4 bedroom house and the only thing missing is a younger sibling for Kennedy to play with and make our lives filled with that much more joy. We live in a great neighborhood full of children, who we often see riding their bikes, kicking the soccer ball, or playing chase. Many times, our front yard is the neighborhood playground.

Our house tends to be a meeting place for many. We have both kept in touch with our high school as well as our college friends, seeing many of them on a regular basis. Friendship and family are two of the most important things in our lives and we can’t wait to grow our family that we have always dreamed of and share these aspects of our lives.

Thank you!
Thank you for taking time to learn about us, and we hope that you give us the opportunity to learn about you. Although we will not ever truly know how difficult this decision is for you, we admire your strength and courage in making this difficult decision.

Sincerely with love,
Dustin & Melissa

Greg and Denise are hopeful adoptive parents waiting to adopt a baby. We would like to begin by stating that we are both ecstatic regarding the prospect of becoming adding another to our family someday soon. We want to give a happy home, an extended family, and love to your child.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read our Birth Parent Letter and family profile.

Dear Birthparent:

We would like to begin by expressing our true admiration for you and our desire is to help this difficult decision you are facing be an easier one. We want you to know what a special person we think you are for considering adoption and hope that God’s plan for your child includes us. This is a very exciting time for our family and we want to welcome you into our hearts and lives. This letter and photo album is just a short, brief glimpse into our lives, but we hope to show you how much love and dedication we have to offer your child.

About us
We met each other on a blind date almost ten years ago and it was truly “love at first sight.” We have built our relationship on love, trust, and most of all friendship.

We are best friends and love being parents. Today we live in beautiful Southern New Hampshire and are near Denise’s large family. We love New England and enjoy all of the seasons: Fall with vibrant colors on the trees, snow in the winter for Christmas, flowers blossoming in the spring, and warm summers at the beach.

Our home is right on the Massachusetts border, about 20 minutes from Denise’s mother and 30 minutes from her sister. Greg’s job allows him to work from home most of the time and commuting is usually a “walk downstairs”. It’s on a cul-de-sac where a child can ride a bike in safety and has a long driveway that is just waiting for a little red wagon to be pulled down it. There is also a large back yard (good for soccer balls or footballs) and an above ground pool. The home is about 45 minutes from Boston so we can easily enjoy a taste of the city whenever we want. Our new neighborhood is full of young children, and we cannot wait to add one more!

A little about Greg
Greg is employed as a marketing manager and has a flexible schedule with many days off each month; perfect for meeting the demands of fatherhood. Often he works from his home office and therefore is never late for dinner! Greg’s favorite activities include: “Daddy time” with the boys, reading, traveling, snow skiing, gardening, and date nights with Denise.

A little about Denise
Denise now works full time as a “stay at home mom” now that we have adopted Anthony and Phillip. Her favorite activities are cooking, traveling, shopping, collecting Longaberger baskets, and date nights with Greg. Denise loves children and started her career as a nanny before working in retail management.

Anthony & Phillip, our boys
We have two little boys, Anthony (four) and Phillip (three). Anthony is adventurous and energetic, and Phillip loves to laugh and smile. They are a team whether they are riding bikes on the driveway, playing on the swings, or playing ball with Daddy. Both Denise and Greg have siblings who are close to them in age and we hope that we can find them a little sister soon.

Things We Love To Do Together
We’re an adventurous couple who love to experience life but enjoy spending time with family the most. We have been so fortunate to go on many trips overseas, including Tahiti, Australia, and throughout Europe. However, now that we are parents our vacations are visits to the grandparents. We also never miss a chance to attend a dance recital for one of the nieces or a Little League or soccer game with a nephew, and can’t wait to do the same for our own children.

Our Families & Friends
We are proud to say that both of our families are very supportive of our decision to adopt Anthony and Phillip and are excited about the possibility of another “new addition” to the family.

Holidays are always spent with family and friends. Every spring we have a giant Easter egg hunt at Nana’s house (she has the biggest yard) and enjoy a traditional Easter Italian feast. The Fourth of July is extra special in New England. We celebrate at a family beach house with a BBQ and the kids get to stay up late to watch the fireworks over the harbor. Labor Day marks the end of summer with another party at Greg’s parents’ lake house and it kicks off the start of college football season. Falls are busy too – often at Thanksgiving we have over 30 people eating, and one table just for kids! Christmas is our favorite because Santa always makes an appearance (after eating his milk and cookies left the night before). The little kids are up early in their matching Christmas pajamas to see what treasures were left for them.

We would love to hear from you. Until then please take care of yourself and know our thoughts and prayers are with you and your baby.

With warmest regards,

Greg and Denise

Jerry is a hopeful adoptive parent waiting to adopt a baby. To start, I want to say “thank you” for taking some of your time to read about me and to see if I could be that someone you choose to raise your child. I recognize that you face a significant time in your life as you consider making an adoption plan for your child. I hope this profile will assist you in getting to know me.

Dear Birth Parents,

My name is Jerry. To start, I want to say “thank you” for taking some of your time to read about me and to see if I could be that someone you choose to raise your child. I recognize that you face a significant time in your life as you consider making an adoption plan for your child. I hope this profile will assist you in getting to know me.

I have put this profile together to give you a clear picture of what I can offer as a parent to your child. I hope to personally speak with you and answer any questions that you may have. In addition I look forward to the possibility of meeting with you in person, so you can see firsthand the loving, devoted father I am.

I am a single father hoping to adopt for a second time. I feel honored to have been chosen by Elizabeth’s birth parents to become her father. I cherish every moment of fatherhood and work hard to give Elizabeth a wonderful life. She is surrounded by family and friends who simply adore her. Being a great father and caring for my daughter are the top priorities in my life.

I value the friendships and close bond that I have with my sister and brothers. I look forward to adding to our family so that Elizabeth and my future son or daughter can also experience the joy of having a sibling. I will always demonstrate tremendous respect for my children and for you, as the birth parent(s).

I am a successful, single man. I am honest, friendly, hardworking, humorous, dependable and full of life. I am emotionally and financially prepared to take on the role of parenthood for a second time. I truly look forward to midnight feedings, walks in the park, family get-togethers and most of all being called “Daddy” by another special little someone. I will be completely devoted to your child’s well-being each and every day!

I know your adoption plan is being made out of pure love and caring for your baby. I view adoption as an amazing act of love. I will share your difficult, love-filled decision with your child and help him/her to have a positive understanding of adoption. I want this child to know that you made plans to ensure he/she would have a bright future with endless opportunities.

Dear Birth Family,

Hello, our names are Jim and Michelle and we are honored to share a little bit about ourselves with you. We are very excited to be adopting and promise you that we will do everything in our power to provide your child with a loving, safe and happy upbringing. We admire your strength, love and courage and want you to know that you are not alone in this journey. We know that you will make the right decision for yourself and the couple you choose to adopt your child. If you choose us, we will be forever grateful to you for making our dreams come true.

We are a happy, healthy couple that loves life and each other. We enjoy lots of laughs, are light-hearted, and take great pride in doing the ‘right thing’. We have been together for a long time and know that there’s nothing that can come between us. The most important thing in the world to us is family. With all of our travels and experiences, we feel we have a lot we can teach a child.

We welcome the great responsibility that comes with parenting, and will raise your child to his/her fullest potential. We can hardly wait to expand our family and are elated to bring another child into our lives to shower with love and affection.

Again, we can’t thank you enough for giving us this opportunity of a lifetime.

Sincerely,

Jim & Michelle

Somewhere over the rainbow where dreams do come true,
Is a place where we hope we can find you.

Our story is unique how our family came to be,
Our hearts are filled with love and our children hold the key.

Our little girl was born first, from an angel on earth,
She was loved so much already, months before her birth.

Wishing on a star in the sky up above,
Gave us our son to cherish and to love.

Our lucky charm was next, a son born to me,
The odds were against us, his birth a mystery.

Another little boy he was our answered prayer,
How happy we were to have all this love to share.

Although he plays with angels, he lives on in my heart,
Forever in this family, he will always be a part.

And last but not least another little boy,
A gift that filled our hearts with happiness and joy.

A family, not traditional, is what we are,
The bonds we created will take our children far.

So somewhere over the rainbow where dreams come to be,
We pray a little baby will join our family!

John and Kelly are a hopeful adoptive parents waiting to adopt a baby. This letter is meant to share with you a little bit about who we are and how we have come to this time and place in our lives. Before going into too much background, we want to thank you for your courageous decision, and for considering us, as potential adoptive parents and family.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Birth Family

Hello. We are John, Kelly and Jordan. We’d like to thank you for choosing to make this incredibly brave and selfless decision for your baby. We’d also like to thank you for taking the time to read about our family. We are so incredibly excited at the thought of adding another child to our family through adoption. Jordan is equally as excited to be a big brother. He can’t stop talking about all the things he wants to teach his new brother or sister and about all the toys he’s going to share. Hopefully our profile will help you get to know us, the kind of life we live, and all the love we have to share. We would be honored if you chose us as a family for your child.

We promise to love your child unconditionally and to let him or her know what a courageous and selfless person you are. We know you are faced with a huge decision and we hope that no matter what family you choose, that you are able to find a loving family to carry out all of the hopes and dreams that you wish for your baby.

Best Wishes,

John, Kelly and Jordan

Justin and Selanie are a hopeful adoptive parents waiting to adopt a baby. Thank you for taking the time to read our letter and learn more about us. We believe it is very important for a child to always know that he or she is adopted. The child will always know how special you are and what a great sacrifice you made to allow someone else to parent your child.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read our Birth Parent Letter and family profile.

Dear Birth Parents,

We are Justin (age 31) and Selanie (age 26). Thank you for taking the time to read our letter and learn more about us.

We met at a small university in Tennessee. Two days after we met through mutual friends, we went on our first date and have been inseparable ever since. Later we both said we never believed other people who said they “just knew” they were right for each other, but…we just knew.

We have been married for 6 ½ years. When we got married, we were both in school and decided to wait five years before we would try to have children. We thought we would have one or two kids and then adopt one or two. About a year passed without conceiving a child, and we both knew that expensive treatments were not the way we wanted to go. Since we had wanted to adopt anyway, we decided God wanted us to go ahead and begin growing our family through adoption.

We believe it is very important for a child to always know that he or she is adopted. The child will always know how special you are and what a great sacrifice you made to allow someone else to parent your child. We will be more than happy to share pictures and information with you over the years.

Justin is an only child but grew up with his older cousin Mimi like brother and sister. Today their moms (who are sisters) are neighbors and Mimi and her husband Greg live next to Mimi’s parents. Mimi and Greg do not have children so everyone is very excited about bringing a child into the family.

Selanie has a younger sister LuAndra, who is a make-up/special effects artist in Orlando, Florida. They don’t get to see each other all that often but visiting her can be an escape to sunny Florida. She is looking forward to being an aunt! Selanie’s parents (in North Carolina) are also excited to have their first grandchild and plan to move closer to us after they retire.

We hope you can get to know us through the following pages. Thank you for taking the time to learn about us and our family.

Kelly is a hopeful adoptive parent waiting to adopt a baby. I want to first say thank you for opening your heart and mind to learn about us. We live in Connecticut very close to our extended family and many close friends. We focus our lives on love and respect for each other and those around us, learning and experiencing new things and simply enjoying everything that life has to offer.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.Dear Birth Family,

Hello….we are Kelly and Isabella! I want to first say thank you for opening your heart and mind to learn about us. We live in Connecticut very close to our extended family and many close friends. We focus our lives on love and respect for each other and those around us, learning and experiencing new things and simply enjoying everything that life has to offer.

Children have always been important to me and I always wanted a big family. I was in a relationship and conceived Isabella in my early 30’s. Although we are no longer together and I am a single mom, Isabella has very important male influences in her life from her two very involved uncles and a grandfather who are strong male role models.

I’ve been blessed to have one daughter, but would love to be able to welcome another child into our family. I hope this book gives you a glimpse into our life and helps you decide whether we’re the right family for the baby you’re bringing into the world.

Let me tell you about me

I am very outgoing and like to be around people. I am usually laughing or making someone else laugh. I am pretty laid back and don’t like to take life too seriously. I believe everything happens for a reason and try to look at things in a positive way.

My family is extremely important to me and I am very close to them. I have one brother and one sister. My sister Karen is married with two boys, Jordan and Jeremy. My brother Gerald is now living in the home we grew up in. My parents have been married for almost 45 years and are still great friends and very much in love. I spend as much time as I can with my family and really treasure every moment. My daughter spends a lot of time with my nephews as well. Even today, we spend most Monday nights as a group at mom and dad’s for dinner. They are not only my family but also my best friends.

My parents have shown me what is important in life: family, friends and love. They have always encouraged me with unconditional support and taught me to be open minded, respectful and non-judgmental. I will teach my children these same values in life.

A little about Isabella

Isabella is two and a half and extremely bright, articulate, curious, silly, loving, sensitive, caring and most of all; she is the funniest kid I’ve ever met. She is a beautiful soul and has made my life wonderful, exciting and meaningful.

When she enters a room she is usually the center of attention within minutes. Her magnetic personality grabs strangers’ attention. She loves to dress up in her princess dresses and play make believe, sing, dance and play her instruments around the house or run around with her cousins. She loves to make people laugh by being silly.

Isabella is extremely intelligent and is eager to learn something new every day. She began talking at an early age and is very articulate. Reading books is her favorite thing to do and each and every night, we read many. We spend a lot of time at places like the museums, the aquarium, the library and the zoo but her favorite place is the planetarium. I love watching her face as she experiences all of it.

Isabella has been in many different mommy and me classes and is currently enrolled in a music class and a dance class.

Isabella is an only child right now but she spends a lot of time with her friends from “school” and on play dates with other children we know. Knowing what it is like to have a brother and a sister and having them as best friends; I would love to have Isabella experience that closeness. My best gift to her would be a sibling to share her journey though life.

I have been fortunate enough to have traveled to places throughout the United States as well as Europe. This is something that I will continue to enjoy with my children. I believe learning through experience is extremely important to building knowledge, acceptance and understanding of others. I love to travel and see different cultures, sites and history. Since Isabella was born; however, my travel has focused mostly on Disney World and Sesame Place. Those were two of my favorite trips so far!

We live in a safe neighborhood within a community that is known for its educational programs. We have three bedrooms in our home along with a playroom. Our backyard area is large off the back deck with a lot of space to run around in and a playscape to climb and swing on.

We live near many parks and play areas. We spend a lot of time engaging in activities that are not only fun but stimulating in all kinds of ways.

Whether it’s dancing around the house to music, going for a walk or bike ride in our neighborhood, playing at the beach in the summer or in the snow in the winter, we are usually active. I love watching her learn and seeing her smile as she experiences a new adventure.

I have been able to work hard and secure a stable job with a large financial company. It has given me the ability to own my own home, provide for my daughter and plan for our future. I love my job because it is not only exciting professionally but because I work for a company that is very family oriented which allows me the flexibility to ensure that my family remains a priority to me.

The child care I will provide will consist partially of a structured learning day care environment as well as home care with grammy and grampy. The day care Isabella is in currently is through a prestigious college led by wonderful teachers who have become very dear to my family.

I grew up in a Catholic family with parents who have a strong belief in their faith. They taught us the values and morals that have made me who I am today. They showed us that kindness, forgiveness, open mindedness and unconditional love are what is important in life.

Through my young adult years I learned about and experienced several different types of religions. I feel that I am more spiritual than religious but I do believe that faith and religion provide the foundation for strong morals and values.

Education has always been important to me. I graduated with a Family Relations degree and began my career as a Social Worker counseling abused and delinquent children and teenagers. I found this type of work very fulfilling and knew I was good at it. I was always fair, consistent and always treated the children with respect and open arms.

My education and work experience allowed me to work with many programs helping children learn to build healthy and emotionally stable lives. It is very important to me to be able to provide my children with the best education possible so they can have the opportunities to fulfill their goals and dreams.

What Being a Parent Means to Me:

I have always wanted children ever since I can remember. My daughter has brought so much joy to my life and I spend every moment possible with her. I get laughs from my co-workers as I leave work because I literally run to my car to drive home to see her. At times it is challenging as a single mother; to be all things all the time – mother, father, disciplinarian, friend, and partner. Through it all every moment has been so rewarding to me and I wouldn’t have it any other way. The traditional family with a mother and a father may be ideal for some families; however, I feel that I can provide the love, stability and support, both emotionally and financially, to my children.

My approach to discipline is most importantly to have patience and talk calmly about what was wrong and a better way to do things. I treat Isabella like an individual and always try to give her choices so she feels she has some ownership in the decisions. She is always aware of possible consequences that go along with some choices, which are primarily removal of privileges or time outs. She feels my love all the time even when limits need to be set. We decide our rules together and this builds her confidence and independence. I am here to guide her and teach her the foundations but to let her experience and choose a path that is right for her.

I believe that I have so much love to give to another child. I am emotionally and financially stable, independent, educated and experienced in life. I can provide a safe, stable and secure home filled with love, respect and joy.

I will always be open and honest with this child regarding adoption, the sacrifice you have made and any details you wish to provide about yourself. This child will always know how special you are and the courage you showed in making this decision. Should you wish to receive pictures and letters, I would be honored to provide those for you through the Adoption Alliance. I am so grateful to you for considering our family.

Thank you.

Kelly and Isabella

Dear Birth Parents,

Our names are Abigail and Marshall, and we want to first say thank you for considering us as parents. We are a fun-loving, affectionate, and very committed couple, and we are truly excited about the possibility of raising your child. We have always dreamed of being parents, sharing our love with a child, and building our warm family.

This would be our first child and we are thrilled to welcome a child into our loving home as we begin the next chapter in our lives as parents. Our parents, too, are eager about having a grandchild, and Marshall’s parents look forward to becoming grandparents for their first time.

We have enjoyed the past 4 ½ years of marriage; however, during that time we have both struggled with infertility. We are excited about the opportunity to build our family through adoption. We know that this is an important life decision for you. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us and we look forward to experiencing the joys of life with your precious, beautiful baby.

Yours,

Abigail & Marshall

Monique is a hopeful adoptive parent waiting to adopt a baby. I appreciate you reading my profile and I hope that you find I may be someone you could choose as an adoptive parent. I admire your courage and strength to consider an adoption plan for your child. I have always dreamed of being a mother and sharing my life with a child and although I am not able to have biological children due to fertility issues, I know I can have a wonderful family through the gift of adoption.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read our Birth Parent Letter and family profile.

Dear Birth Parents,

My name is Monique. I appreciate you reading my profile and I hope that you find I may be someone you could choose as an adoptive parent. I admire your courage and strength to consider an adoption plan for your child.

I love spending time with children and have been fortunate to have nephews, nieces, godchildren and the children of my close friends as a part of my life. I have always dreamed of being a mother and sharing my life with a child and although I am not able to have biological children due to fertility issues, I know I can have a wonderful family through the gift of adoption.

I hope that my profile touches you and if it does please know that I would be happy to speak with you and answer any questions you have. I would also be open to meeting with you in person and give you the opportunity to learn more about me.

A little about me….

I was born and raised in Texas and am proud to be a Texan! I enjoy traveling and I have a sense of adventure. My ideal vacation is to visit the mountains, either in the winter to ski or summer to hike and be outdoors. I also enjoy going to other countries and experiencing other cultures. I can’t wait to share these adventures and travel experiences with my child!

I also enjoy just being home and having friends or family over. I love to cook and have dinner parties and cookouts at my house. I often am the one in our family who plans and cooks holiday meals. I have fun teaching my nephews and nieces to cook with me and will enjoy teaching my child as well.

My family and friends

I grew up in a close knit family and have a sister and brother. My parents are wonderful people who I admire and respect. They are very loving grandparents to their four grandchildren and look forward to new grandchild to spoil! They raised my brother, sister and me to be kind, considerate people and to place God and family first in our lives. I am very close to both my siblings. They are both married and each have a son and daughter. My nephews and nieces are a very special part of my life!

In addition to my family, I have close group of friends from college who I consider my family as well. I am godmother to several of their children. My life is centered around both the family I grew up with and the family of friends I have formed during my life.

All my friends and family are very excited and supportive of my dream to adopt and there will be an incredible number of people who will love and be involved in my child’s life.

Baxter

I currently share my home with my dog Baxter. I adopted him from the local animal shelter four years ago. His favorite activities are his daily walk to the park and chasing his tennis ball and stuffed animals. He is playful and very happy and patient with children and will welcome a new playmate!

Home and Neighborhood

I live in a nice, safe neighborhood. It is a very family oriented neighborhood with lots of children and a playground and dog park within walking distance of my house. I have a four bedroom home and one room will become a beautiful nursery for the baby. In the TV room I have a closet with toys, children’s books and games. When my nieces, nephews and godchildren visit my home they will usually run straight to it to play! My home is comfortable and relaxing and has plenty room for a child!

Faith

I was raised in the catholic faith and my faith is a very important part of my life. I plan to raise my child as my parents raised me, to place God and family first in their life. I plan for my child to attend catholic schools in my neighborhood.

One of the most rewarding things in my life is volunteering at a local children’s hospital. I spend one afternoon a week visiting with children one on one, playing with them or holding babies and comforting them. I became a volunteer to help others but it has been tremendously rewarding to me!

What I do for Work

I am fortunate to have a career that I love in the finance industry. My career is personally rewarding and it provides me with a comfortable lifestyle and financial security.

Child Care
My job allows me flexibility in my schedule including working from home and taking time off to care for a child or attend special events. I plan to take several months off with the baby so we can bond. My child care plans will either be to arrange for child care in my home or use a very reputable daycare in my neighborhood.

The Future…..

I know that adopting a child will be a big change in my life and I am so excited for that day to come! I will be a devoted, loving parent and will provide your child with a happy, stable home. I will encourage them to obtain a good education in life, both through school and the experiences we will share traveling and enjoying what the world has to offer. Your child’s life will be one filled with love and laughter.

I will raise your child to know that you love them and chose me to love them as well through your adoption plan. If you choose to receive photos and updates I would be very happy to provide them.

Thank you for considering me as you make your adoption plans. I wish you strength and peace as you make this very important decision and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I hope I will have a chance to speak with you.

If you have any questions or would like to contact me please call Adoption Alliance at 1-800-626-4324.

With gratitude and respect,

Monique

Nick and Pam are hopeful adoptive parents waiting to adopt a baby. We know this is an important time in your lives. It is truly a gift that you are giving of yourselves to make a plan for your child. We hope we can make this time as easy for you as we possibly can. We think you will enjoy getting to know a little about us, our family and our desire to provide an enriching, loving home.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read the following Dear Birthmother Letter.

Dear Birth Family,

Hello and thank you for looking through our profile! We are Pam and Nick from New York!

Although we can’t know what you are going through, we do know that there are many important decisions you must make. We hope that you are granted the strength and peace to help you make the right ones for you and your child. We respect that it takes an amazing amount of courage. We have always known that we wanted a family and we believe that parenting a child will be such a fulfillment and one of the greatest joys of life.

We have been through many years of infertility and sadness, but it has strengthened us, brought us closer then ever. We have chosen to adopt because we want to share our love with a child, the method for which we start our family is not important, we want to raise our children with all the love that we both grew up with and have. We believe that love, faith, creativity, and honesty are core values to grow up with, we are hoping and praying to be the blessed couple who gets the chance to love, nurture and make a difference in a child’s life.

Warm Regards,

Nick and Pam

Our house will be a happy, warm and comforting home. Your child will be brought up to understand that we are a family because of your courage and selflessness and will always know great respect, gratitude and love for you.

Dear Birth Parents,

Our names are Kim and Patrick. We first want to thank you for taking the time to learn more about our family. We also want you to know that we can only imagine how difficult this decision is for you. Please know that we admire your courage and the deep love that you have for your child as you make your adoption plan. Should you choose us, we promise to cherish and love your child unconditionally and to provide him/her with all the support, love and security that they need. We will provide a loving home and a life full of love, laughter and family.
We live in New York and have been married for 14 years. We met in college and were friends before we started dating and continue to be each other’s best friend and soul mate. We are a warm, fun-loving family that has a strong interest in education, travel and all sorts of family activities. After several years of trying to conceive and medical interventions, we were blessed to have our son Matthew. He is now 4 years old and is the light of our lives and we love being parents. Our days are filled with piggy back rides, trips to the playground, games of hide and seek and duck duck goose and laughter. We have always wanted to have a family and now that we have been lucky enough to become parents, it has only strengthened our desire to have more children. We tried to conceive another child, but after several medical interventions, we decided that the best way to build our family was through adoption. We strongly feel that our family is not yet complete and that we have more than enough love and time to give another child. We are hoping for one more miracle. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our family. We hope that the following pages will provide you with a glimpse into our family and life.

With our love and gratitude,

Kim and Patrick

Paul and Rebecca are hopeful adoptive parents waiting to adopt a baby. We want to thank you for taking the time to read our profile and get to know us. We are a warm, fun-loving, hard-working couple who enjoy all aspects of life. Although we both take great pride in our careers as a school teacher and engineer, we still find time to travel and enjoy the little things in life.

Dear Birth Parents,

We are Paul and Rebecca and want to thank you for taking the time to read our profile and get to know us. We are a warm, fun-loving, hard-working couple who enjoy all aspects of life. Although we both take great pride in our careers as a school teacher and engineer, we still find time to travel and enjoy the little things in life.

After we met and fell in love we shared a dream of becoming parents. We love children and there is nothing more incredible than watching a child grow, learn, play, smile, and laugh. We are aware that with parenting also come challenges, and we are prepared to work through any that come our way. We have no doubt that we will make terrific parents, having been raised with great role models. Our amazing families continue to play a very active and supportive role in our lives.

It was with such love and excitement that we started planning for our own family shortly after we were married. During that time, we experienced much disappointment through failed attempts at conception and fertility treatments. Although we did manage to become pregnant once, we were devastated when the pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. We have been through a lot together and have become stronger because of it. Through all of this, our desire to become parents and raise a family has never wavered. We continue to pray and wish for a baby. After extensive research and discussion, it is without question that adoption is the perfect solution to complete our family. We are filled with excitement and anticipation as we enter the adoption process.

We know this is a difficult time in your life, and we admire your compassion in considering adoption for your baby. If you wish, we are open to providing periodic updates and pictures. We wish you the best whatever your decision may be. If you do choose us, you can be assured that we will provide a lifetime full of opportunities, security and unconditional love for your child.

Respectfully,

Rebecca & Paul

Randy and Cheryl are a hopeful adoptive parents waiting to adopt a baby. We are delighted to have the opportunity to present our family to you and hope that you find us to be the perfect fit for your precious little one. We are excited to be on this journey and appreciate the beauty in the loving choices you are making for your child.

If you are pregnant and considering placing your child for adoption, please read our Birth Parent Letter and family profile.

Dear Birthparent:

Hello and Welcome! Our names are Cheryl and Randy. We are delighted to have the opportunity to present our family to you and hope that you find us to be the perfect fit for your precious little one. We are excited to be on this journey and appreciate the beauty in the loving choices you are making for your child.

Our Story – My husband and I met in college at Princeton University in a science class and used to go to lunch together afterwards. Our friendship was special and as time passed, it blossomed into an amazing relationship. Six years later we married, and have been happily married for over 10 years now. We have a beautiful 3 year-old son, Noah who is an absolute joy and we are eager to welcome our second child. We are very excited for Noah to have a brother or sister to grow up with.

We have tried for over a year to have a second child and give Noah a sibling, but we have been unable to conceive. Infertility has been difficult, and there have been many disappointments. However after making the decision to adopt, we feel as if a weight has been lifted from us and HOPE has entered our home and our hearts. We are waiting for the special baby that was meant to be our second child to arrive and complete our family.

Noah is full of life and enjoys playing and exploring outside. He is smart, funny and lovable. We know that he is going to make a fantastic big brother. He is currently in preschool and really enjoys it. In addition he attends music, art, and gym classes after school and on weekends. We started Noah very early in pre-school (around 2 years of age). We believe it is really important for children to be around other children. Because of my light work schedule, I have the luxury of bringing and picking Noah up from school, and spending many afternoons with him.

We live in a family friendly neighborhood located in New York. We own a spacious home on a large piece of property, with plenty of room to run and play. Our home consists of 5 bedrooms, 5 ½ bathrooms, living room, kitchen, dining room, family room, playroom and a large finished basement. We have a gated heated swimming pool that we enjoy with family and friends in the spring and summer months. We think our area is the ideal place to raise a family. There are great schools, many families with young children, and we are centrally located to just about everything. We can travel to New York City to see a Broadway show one day and the next day relax on a beautiful beach in the country. Where we live we get to experience all four seasons.

We think about you often as well as the amazing amount of love you have for your baby. We will be sure to help your child understand that your decisions were made with extreme care and entirely with LOVE. We wait with open arms to welcome this precious baby into our family. Photos and updates – Because deciding to let another couple raise your child is such a difficult decision for a birth parent, we can understand how some birth parents would like to hear and see how the baby is doing. We understand that receiving updates is an individual preference and realize that there are different levels of openness in adoption. For us, we are willing to provide occasional updates and photos for you so you can be kept up to date – via the agency. We are simultaneously nervous and excited to be going through the adoption process. We understand the awesome responsibility of adoption. We are excited to meet our baby and raise him/her with unconditional love. We think of our future son or daughter daily and we wonder how you are and when our paths will cross. There are so many beautiful adoption stories. Historically we think of Moses, and more recently country singer, Faith Hill. Adoption is a selfless decision; we will always have great respect and gratitude for you as our child’s birth parent (s). We welcome any opportunity to talk with you and answer any other questions you may have. If you would like to speak with us, or have questions about us or adoption, a caring, well-informed member of “Adoption Alliance” can assist you. You can reach them toll free by calling 1-800-626-4324.

With respect,

Cheryl & Randy

Dear Birth Parents:

Hello! We are Richard and Tracee a loving couple from New York that are really excited about becoming parents. We are extremely honored that you are taking the time to read our letter. More than anything we want you to know that we have a great deal of unconditional love to give and we cannot wait to share it with your child. If you decide we are the right family for your baby we would always be thankful. We look forward to creating a home filled with love, laughter and creativity and we sincerely thank you for that amazing opportunity.

Our Story . . . .

Through mutual friends we met during college. We quickly fell in love and got engaged right after college. We always talked about having a home filled with the love and laughter of children. We got married in 2004 and purchased a big house with lots of bedrooms to fill up with a family. We have tried to have children for many years to add to our family, but we have been unsuccessful. This struggle has been difficult, however, unconditionally we both feel that adoption would help to make our family complete. We deeply want a child and have plenty of love to give.

About Richard . . . . (by Tracee)

Richard is an amazing man who would make a phenomenal father. He is absolutely one of the most thoughtful, caring, compassionate, smart and loving people ever. He is always thinking about other people, he is truly a selfless man. He is truly dedicated toward everything that he does, whether it is his career in the film industry, his family or his friends. He has a strong work ethic, something that is so important, yet, he understands and believes strongly in the importance of balancing work and family. Richard grew up in New York with a large, extended family. He is very close with his family and really enjoys spending lots of time with them. In addition, Richard has a natural way with children. He idolizes his godson and enjoys spending lots of time with him. It is absolutely amazing to watch them together. They have such a special bond. He cannot wait to be a father and he will be an exceptional one.

About Tracee . . . . (by Richard)

Tracee is a wonderful, kind, exciting and very intelligent person. She was born and raised in New York. Family is a big deal in her life. Growing up she lived with her mother, two brothers and her grandparents and through the years she built a family bond that anyone would be lucky to have. Tracee is also a career woman. She graduated college, received her Master’s degree and now has a very successful teaching job. She takes her position as an educator with the highest respect and treats each child as if they were her own (which is why she is liked and admired by all her students). Tracee is more deserving than anyone I know to have the opportunity to take care of and raise a child. She will be a great mother and I know this because I see her take care of our godson as if he were our own. He is only the age of two and they have created a beautiful and inseparable bond.

Our Family. . . .

We both truly believe in the importance of family. That is a value that is so essential to us. Richard has a brother and a sister and Tracee has two brothers. (not to mention a family full of cousins and nephews) We both are very close to our individual as well as each other’s families. In fact, our families together have become so close it is simply one large family! We love having everyone over for summertime barbeques or even over just to have a family game night. Regularly we have dinner together as a family. We value our families so much we even vacation as a family. Once a year we love to go away as an entire group and we look forward to having a little one to share in all of the love and family fun. Our families are super supportive of our desire to adopt a baby and cannot wait to become grandparents!

Richard and Tracee on education . . . .

Education is extremely important to us. Richard has a degree in business and works in the film industry. Tracee has a bachelors and a master’s degree in education and is a teacher. We feel learning is essential and hope to instill this value in your child. Education is just not for school, it is for the home as well. It is so important to read to children and to truly help them to develop their love of education. Education is not just from teachers, but from parents as well. All children should understand education helps to open many doors and we want your child to understand that their possibilities are endless.

Our home and community . . . .

We live in a wonderful, safe, and family oriented neighborhood in New York. We are close enough to the city to be able to enjoy all of the great culture it has to offer, yet far away enough from the hustle and bustle to be able to sit outside and enjoy fresh air. We have a large house with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. We have a perfect bedroom waiting for a baby to grow in. Additionally, we have a large, completely fenced in backyard that is perfect for a child to play in. We have many great schools in our community that offer terrific academic programs and amazing after school activities. We are walking distance to a beautiful park and playground. Our community is full of friendly people and lots of children, so your child would have the opportunity to make plenty of friends to socialize and play with.

If you decide we are the right family for your child we look forward to welcoming them into our home and making them part of our family. We will be committed to raising your child wholeheartedly with more love, compassion, caring, and understanding than one can ever truly understand.

We understand that you have made a very difficult decision and we have the utmost respect for you. If you would like, we would be happy to share pictures and progress reports with you.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking this time to learn more about us. We hope that you find our family a perfect fit.

Our sincerest gratitude,

Richard and Tracee

Dear Birthparent(s),

We would like to thank you for this opportunity to become part of your lives. This difficult and truly selfless act on your part will bring immeasurable joy to the both of us. In choosing us as adoptive parents for your baby, he/she will receive a lifetime of love and support. With this in mind, please allow us to introduce ourselves.

Our names are Robert and Angela. We have been married for over eight years. We are truly each other’s best friend and enjoy spending time together. We put Rob through law school and focused on the day that we would start a family. We adopted our son Bobby in 2005 and we are now ready to complete our family. We love being parents. We both grew up in stable homes with loving, supportive parents and siblings. Should you choose us as adoptive parents for your child, rest assured that he/she will receive the same love and support. Your child will have many aunts, uncles and cousins as well as wonderful grandparents in their lives.

In raising your child, we will be sure to acknowledge you and your selfless act. We will raise your child to know that he/she was loved by you and that you allowed him/her to be loved by us. As parents, we are committed to being positive role models. We will offer your child the best possible education, a safe community to live in and a loving, nurturing family life. We will give your child every opportunity; from little league to ballet and college if they desire.

Please know that your child will be loved and cherished. We look forward to the day that we are given the privilege and responsibility of raising another happy, healthy and secure child. We wish you the best and will forever keep you in our hearts and prayers.

With respect and gratitude,

Robert and Angela
