Dear Birth Parents,
We are Virginia and Mike. We are very excited at the prospect of adoption. We are hopeful to one day have a child join our family. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. We hope this letter will provide answers to any questions you may have.
We are a happily married couple who truly love and enjoy each other’s company. We have been together for eleven years and married for the last six years.
We met at a hair salon where Virginia worked as a hairdresser, and Mike was a client. We had a wonderful connection and became friends from the beginning. After a few haircuts and fun conversations he asked Virginia for a date. We’ve been together ever since.
We have always wanted to welcome a child into our family. After years of trying unsuccessfully to conceive naturally, we then turned to infertility treatments. Again we were unsuccessful. This is how we knew adoption was our answer
We are very excited about the possibility of having a family of our own. We promise to be the best parents we can be. We have many friends who have adopted children. It is a wonderful option for building a family. Our child will always know how special and selfless you are. They will be raised knowing they were adopted. He /she will know they truly were a gift from an angel. We would like to share progress reports and photos through the agency if you wish to receive them.
We hope to fill their life with smiles, love and laughter.
If given the opportunity we believe we can give a child a happy and secure life. We promise to include lots of bedtime stories, days at the park and time spent with family.
This letter was written from our hearts. We truly cannot express how much we appreciate you taking the time to read our letter.
With utmost respect,
Michael and Virginia
